Short Summary:

The main task of this position is to deliver smaller customer orders and collect from our suppliers. The Driver will also be a backup bulk driver. The driver must be well organized and be able to adhere to exact schedules. The Driver should also be able to interact with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

Drive according to all legal requirements.
Ensure that the vehicle is always secured with chock blocks.
Complete the Driver medical assessments when required.
Ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness of all company vehicles.
Report any faults which may result in spills or damage to vehicles or third-party property.
Complete a daily record of the physical, electrical and mechanical condition of the vehicle.
Deliver any and all items related to the business function of SOILL.
Deliver or collect all items as may be required by Management.
Ensure all delivery and collection documentation are completed correctly.
Complete any non-driver related job which Management may deem to be fair and reasonable.
Responsible for the diesel/ toll card at all times.
Be available after hours and on weekends to do loads as required.
Communicate all issues arising onsite or offsite to Management.
Ensure that the Drivers Manual is complete and available in the vehicle at all times.
Report any shortages and returns to the Logistics Manager before leaving the customer/ supplier.
Report any delays at a customer/ supplier immediately.

Key Competencies:

Valid Code 14 Drivers License with PDP
Valid Drivers License with no endorsements
1 years experience driving a bulk tanker
