This bespoke wedding, conference, corporate, and leisure destination in Curry’s Post, the Natal Midlands, is searching for a dynamic, well-rounded, and highly energetic young individual to assist the kitchen brigade as a commis chef.

This is a full-service boutique hotel with conference and wedding facilities as well as all-day dining.

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual with a broad base of food and beverage knowledge with an exceptional eye for detail to assist in kitchen prepardness. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required to assist with stock counts and rotations. A strong understanding of function execution is required with a keen interest in A La Carte.

A matric certificate is non-negotiable. A graduate in culinary studies will receive immediate preference and candidates must send a letter of motivation of no more than 100 words with a comprehensive CV outlining their kitchen experience and resume. Three recent, contactable references to be included in all applications. Candidates not meeting the above criteria will not be interviewed.
