Full Job Description:
Synergy Transformation Solutions is looking for an Office Cleaner to join our growing team.
We are looking for an office cleaner that can handle cleaning chemicals safely is good and must be able to multitask and stick to their schedules while also responding to incidents as they occur throughout the day.
If hired, you’ll play an integral role in keeping a clean and neat space through good hygiene. You’ll also help the company make a great first impression for our customers.
Responsibilities:
· Sweeping or vacuum cleaning and polishing floors, furniture and other objects
· Helping with preparation of meals/refreshments for guests
· Cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorising kitchen, canteen, bathrooms and toilets
· Washing dishes and make sure dishes are packed afterwards
· Clean, sanitise, and tidy offices, boardroom, training centre, canteen, and toilet.
· Disposing of trash from bins and containers from offices
· Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning training centre, canteen, restroom cleaning etc)
· Perform routine inspection and maintenance activities
· Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
· Advise when stock is low and requires re-ordering
· Cooperate with the rest of the staff
· Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
· Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, performs further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
· Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
· Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private bathrooms
· Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
· Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
· Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
· Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
· Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on job
· Follow all Covid 19 Protocol, health and safety regulations
· Remove and wash all cups and glasses from offices before leaving for the day.
· Ensure that all windows closed and outside doors are locked before leaving for the day.
Requirements/Experience:
– Must be a South African
– Minimum qualifications – Grade 12
– Minimum of 2-3 years Office cleaner experience
– Great communication skills
– Good time management
– The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– The ability to follow health and safety standards
