Location: Thabazimbi – Limpopo
Salary: R18k to R22k per month

Qualifications:

Relevant Merseta qualification
Course in Mixing of paint & Tinting of Colors

Experience:

Skills and Knowledge requirements:

Computer literate
Valid driver’s license
Min of 1 -2 years’ experience in managing a team
Min of 6 years’ experience as a Spray painter
Color Mixing: 2 years (Required)
spray painting: 2 years (Required)
Body Finishing: 2 years (Required)
Color Matching: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities:

A fast learner, with the ability to adapt and cope under pressure with a high-volume workload
Motivated, hardworking and flexible
Preparedness to work overtime regularly and most Saturdays
Highly organized, punctual with the ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
Good communication, planning, presentation and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well within a team-orientated environment, to interact and co-operate with all company employees
Have seasoned experience in spray painting techniques from start to finish
A driver’s license and reliable transport
Must be hands-on, responsible and be attentive to detail
Able to manage a team of flatters and body fillers Key Responsibilities
Manage preparation and finishing teams (Flatters and body fillers)
Prepare paint to desired color and consistency
Paint cars
Maintain stock levels of all items required for the completion of duties
Must keep up to date records of their hours for job cards
Meeting deadlines
Quality control on finished products
Engage good housekeeping standards
Follow safe work procedures and safety standards as per set out by the OE.
