Job Summary:

Goods are delivered securely and timeously according to laid down standards and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and improvement of branch profitability.

Job Description

1. All delivery notes must be carefully read before stock is picked (e.g. Stock code quantity, quality and special instruction). Packs and send IBT’s

2. Also check for duplication of picking slip or invoice, report if any.

3. Before stock is picked the delivery note or invoice number should be activated

on the bin card with the following information:

Customer Name, Delivery Note Number, Quantity and Signature.

4. All products picked for customers and branches should be checked for

quantity and quality.

5. Should there be a discrepancy of stock advise the Branch Manager.

6. On completion of picking slip or invoice the picker must sign the document.

7. No stock must be picked without a relevant picking slip or invoice.

8. Collect orders must be given first preference.

9. All orders for next day delivery must be picked and invoiced before 16.00 hours.

10. Assist in the warehouse with stock take.

11. Assist driver at various customers. POD s must be signed to acknowledge delivery of goods to customer.

12. When driver is not delivery your duties will be in the stores assisting in preparing, packing, unpacking and sorting relevant retail stock.

Skill required:

· Product knowledge of PPE would be an added advantage

· Drivers Licence

· Computer literate
